When you receive an email from me, this is what you see. It does not matter if the email pertains to business or something more personal. During the course of the day, I send out 100 emails or more. It isn’t just my name and contact information people are seeing. They are also seeing live links to my blog and website. I am constantly surprised how many business people still do not use their email signature option.

Even if you’re doing everything right, organic SEO takes time and can be a frustrating process. Hopefully you have hired a professional to build and code your website and submitted it properly to search engines. You may even be blogging and tweeting.  If you’re still not happy with your search engine rankings, one of the easiest ways to get your URL out to the masses is including it in every email you send. You never know who may be interested in  learning more about you and what you do. What does this mean for your business website? More exposure, more visitors, better rankings.

Brainstorming

Our First Business to Business Brainstorming event took place last night at Nick of Thyme restaurant in Simsbury, Ct.  It was the brain child of InSight Design’s own Tina Rice and Emily Black of Word Wisdom Art, to help small business owners share innovative and cost effective ways to promote their business.

Tina began the discussion and encouraged input from the attendees. The event had a relaxed tone and the conversation flowed. We all came away with some fresh marketing ideas and even had a few laughs. Not to mention full bellies. Thanks to Lisa Duncan, owner of Nick of Thyme, who provided a tasty assortment of hot cheesy dips.

Thank you to all who attended. It was a great success. In fact, we enjoyed it so much, we’re already planning the next one.
